Roses are Red hairstyles: 3 Valentines hairstyles with fresh flowers

Valentines Day is coming up! It’s an exciting holiday to celebrate love. I am already thinking about my Valentine’s date….what should I wear, how should I do my makeup, and what should I do with my hair?? I don’t have lots of time to spare for our date night, but I want to look special and beautiful. Luckily I found 3 easy looks that are PERFECT at saying “be mine”  for your special Valentine’s date.

These styles have such simple elegance about them…. What will really up your hair game in the most effortless way is to add the finishing touch of fresh florals. Fresh flowers don’t have to break the bank. I picked up my flowers from Trader Joes for a great price! Smiths also has great prices on flowers, so you can definitely do this on a budget. Wearing flowers makes you feel fresh, glowing, and gorgeous.  Fresh flowers are stunning to have in a bouquet, in your home, and well EVERYWHERE. So why not incorporate them into your style? Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to try it out.

Here are 3 romantic looks that look magical with flower accessories.

Twisted Half Up

It’s easy AND stunning… yes, you can have BOTH!  Adding the flowers to this simple style really make it look like something incredible. This hairstyle has just enough detail to make heads turn. This is a great look for a classic & romantic Valentine’s date.

  1. Curl your hair.
  2. Grab a small section from the front on each side. Lightly twist each piece back.
  3. Secure the pieces together with a clear elastic.
  4. Top it off with some gorgeous flowers.

Piecey boho bun

This soft ethereal bun is quick and simple. Yet, everyone will think you spent hours creating this beautiful look. This is soft, piecey, and romantic so it is perfect for that fairytale Valentine’s date.

  1. Follow the steps from the twisted half up style.
  2. Grab and pin curls with bobby pins. No rhyme or reason. Just simply grab and secure pieces into a bun at the nape of your neck.
  3. Pull out face framing pieces in the front to give more of an effortless vibe.
  4. Finish it off with those fresh florals.

Floral Headband

The inspo for this style was the Frida Kahlo paintings. Look her up if you don’t know what I am talking about. She is a famous painter known for the passion, nature, and florals in her paintings. This is such a fun and unique style that adds that passion and nature into the vibe of the style. It is (once again) SO STINKIN’ easy to do. The fresh flowers make this look THAT much better. This cute style is great for a fun-loving  Valentine’s date.

  1. Curl your hair. Brush through your curls to make them soft.
  2. Criss cross bobby pins from one ear to another ( a headband of bobby pins.)
  3. Take fresh flowers and secure them into the bobby pins creating the headband of florals.
  4. Tease hair for volume and cover any visible bobby pins with flowers or hair.
